Sci-Fi and Action Exhibition Star Wars Takeover Day

Sci-Fi & Action Exhibition - Star Wars Takeover Day

Wednesday 18 December 2024

This year's Sci-Fi and Action exhibition at Moyse's Hall will be wrapping up with an out-of-this-world Star Wars takeover day on the final Saturday of the exhibition.

Saturday 1st February will be a galactic finale with exclusive Star Wars-themed activities including a visit from Michael Whiteley, the prop maker behind Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Roger Rabbit, Titanic and more. He’ll showcase the animatronic Tauntaun head of the iconic beast, on which Luke Skywalker rode across the snow in The Empire Strikes Back and share stories from his iconic career.

In addition, Vader Raiders Costume Crew will be bringing the galaxy far, far away to life with their incredible character performances throughout the day; don't miss the chance to meet some of Star Wars' most beloved heroes and villains as they take up residence in the museum's galleries.

Admission will also give you access to the final weekend of the Sci-fi and Action exhibition, which must end Sunday 2nd February, and the museum's historic collections. The exhibition features screen-used props and memorabillia from classic franchises and blockbuster war epics.
