Join the Friends
By becoming a Friend you will be supporting a unique project but you will also benefit from:
- Free admission to both sites throughout the year
- Newsletters
You will also have the opportunity to get involved in the work on site. You could choose to become:
- A Museum guide
- A constructor in the Anglo-Saxon Village
- A costumed villager or character
- An archivist behind the scenes in the Museum
As a Friend you will be invited to come along to training events providing you with knowledge and skills to deal with the public or just introduce you to the site more fully. Whatever your interest, knowledge or skill level your help is always very much appreciated. Even if you cannot actively help, by joining the Friends you can still support our work.
Volunteering
If you do not wish to join one of the Friends groups you can still become a volunteer. There are many opportunities including some of those above but also adding other areas like the Country Park and Education work.
If you are interested in getting involved you can:
